Ack...The hurricane eye is supposed to pass diectly over us...so I will probably not have power for a good week or so since it is a catagory four with winds peaking around 145 mph...not quite sure what that is in kph...anywho...I have to turn the computer off now...I'll get on as soon as I can...

well everyones fine. There are a LOT of downed trees in our neiborhood but non of ours luckily...we did have a water main burst under one of our trees so it probably would have fallen down if the storm lasted much longer...the cars have leaves plastered to them which looks odd...we still don't have power(I'm using my aunts computer now...she still has power and water) and until this morning we didn't have water either...I have seen a couple of smashed cars around the neighborhood, but other than that there is minimal damage...mainly a couple of gutters fell down and a large number of trees block the roads...the guy two doors down had both his trees uprooted, one of which fell on our neighbor's tree which snaped in half and fell across her driveway...the bad thing is she was trying to sell her house and it has been vacant for sometime so it hasn't been selling very well, now there aren't any trees in her yard, with the exception of half the trunk of the tree that snaped, and so the value just dropped considerably...we have a giant pile of debris in front of our house that we collected from our yard...it's at least a meter high if not more, 2 or 3 meters long and about a meter across...I just learned that the county school board canceled school until wednesday...that would be a great thing except there is little to do at my aunts to occupy my time...I may have to teach them how to play din lin(an asian card game)...anywho...I hope our power is restored soon...

we have another breaking in the water line...the first was in the main...this one's in the individual line...and our sewer's blocked up to boot...well at least we finally got power back yesterday...

and now half of my house is powerless...

...although truely that is due to another storm...

Only half your house? Isn't that a bit wierd?

...yea it is really weird...but basically everythings all right over hear with the exception of the water and power problems...most of the trees were cleared away and all that...
