Paganmoon - Crazy as Ever

I don't know if it's the drink or my age, but I seem to have so many confusing thoughts going on in my head at the moment...
I'm the wrong side of 40 but still feel a teenager inside....
I should write them all down I know, but that's the problem, nothing makes any sense, well none to put into words... I feel like I'm going mad here at times...
When I make sense of my world I'll let you know.....lol...

hi sheryl.
.
its not the drink.... i feel the same as you. in my head, im 19. but the way my body is right now, i feel 90.
.
there are times when i feel i should be acting my age and the only thing i can go by, is being like my mother which means i would be be a very prudish narrowminded stuck up person who only saw things in black and white, with no shades of grey. and i certainly dont want to be like her..
.
i still want to splash in puddles, play instead of doing chores. do silly things and be a silly person.
.
i think that you listening to Darkness, shows how much that you are still a child at heart. i havent even heard anything yet. im still stuck in a time warp.
.
and the comments you make in here, prove that you certainly have a sense of humour. which is something to be proud of. after speaking to some of the people i do, online... you need one smiley - rofl
.
so dont worry about it.. go with the flow and have fun.smiley - stiffdrinksmiley - cidersmiley - cheers
.

Don't worry Sheryl, I feel like that a lot too.

I think we probably all do from time to time.

Julie (AKA Ann Maurice...the motto is, lighten, brighten, declutter and accessorise)

Sheryl, I hope I never grow old inside! Like Helen smiley - rose I still feel 19 inside although my body does let me know from time to time that I ain't! smiley - rofl Lots of people are still young at heart and they're the most fun to be round, my Mother-in-Law was a right case which is one of the reasons we got on so well. Don't worry about it and just keep on doing what you're doing and if you're still into J n D when you're 90 then go girl! (having a mental image of them as wrinklies in spandex now smiley - yikessmiley - rofl) You're in good company here anyway smiley - hugsmiley - kiss

hi sheryl,i wonder if you're a bit depressedsmiley - hug.I only ask because i get the same things happening to me when i'm smiley - blue. It's hard, not been
able to get around when
we want to,and it
gets the better of me a lot of the time!!!!!!
The times when i want to play footie with the
children, and go on the rides with them when were
away, and just act daft in general, and all we can do is sit
there,and watch.
Thats the child in us all, wanting to to come out, smiley - biggrin
I think it's harder when you're mind is willing, but your body wont let you ,do the things the children do.
You just keep your sense of humour smiley - love,i don't think it's anything to do with the drink,or your age...it's just life, but we're still better off than a lot of people. If you need a chat you know how to get hold of me,anytime.smiley - cuddlexx.

Thanx to all my friends out there for all your kind and supportive remarks.. smiley - cuddles and smiley - love to you all...
I agree, it is frustrating when I want to get out there and do, and all I can do is sit here and rely on other folk.. I suppose I do get down and smiley - blue with it at times, but I don't think that it's classic depression as such, more like me feeling sorry for myself..
I do try to keep my daft sense of humour, it's what makes me tic i think.. And I must admit my language can be quite choice at times, not at all lady like...lol.. But that's just me, I don't swear to offend, it's just second nature to me, I'm used to being around it...
AS far as music is concerned, I have varied tastes.. Helen, some of my choices come from the 60' n 70's and the like, but I do like some of the up to date stuff as well... I listen/watch Kerrang on cable.. (ch. 332) They play the likes of The Darkness, Rasmus, Muse, Green Day, Him, and such others...
Jules, your comment about The Darkness as wrinklies in spandex had me in stitches... Now that's put other thoughts in me head... smiley - laughsmiley - winkeye
Well I'm going to colour me hair later, so that should give me a boost... If I don't pull me back out doing it.. smiley - rofl
Catch you all later...

I'm trying to hide the grey... lol... I'm doing it an mid auburn colour... It's been different shades of auburn red since I was 13yrs old.. It's also been blonde and also black, which was quite stark really with my skin tone..
my natural colour is dark brown (now with grey streaks..lol) but I've always wanted to be a redhead... Well it matches me fiery temper... smiley - rofl
Hope you enjoy yourself tonight luv, it'll be a nice change, even if only for an hour or so... smiley - hug

Sheryl................I'm fast approaching 50 and on most days I have the outlook of someone half my age! I had my nose pierced about 5 yrs ago at the tender age of 45 and my kids and now ex husband thought I'd gone barking mad smiley - silly It was something I'd always wanted to do but had never got round to for various reasons.........as far as I'm concerned you're never too old, whatever it is you want to do smiley - biggrin

I'm also a 'bottle' redhead and have been for years smiley - smiley

My music tastes are quite eclectic........I like what I like be it from my childhood or bang up to date..........if it's got a good tune I'll probably like it smiley - biggrin Am a bit of a fan of The Darkness too smiley - yikes but dont tell my kids smiley - rofl
