A meet-up in Edinburgh in *August*??
That's going to be pretty horrendous, especially on a weekend. We'd be damn lucky to get seating in a restaurant, never mind a pub.
Dare I suggest moving it to Glasgow?

Harumph! Have you even read how the SRG came about? May I refer my learned member to the SRG annals, available online and accessible from the main SRG page, as to the history, and comingaboutness of said austeer establishment, to whit I supply the following evidence:
F44974?thread=58073&skip=0&show=20 (initial inception of the first scottish meet, resulting in the formation of the SRG).
A380440 (first Scottish meet up page)
A415144 (post meet analysis)
Thus, in conclusion, the only possible outcome is to meet on the first Saturday in August (during festival time, we already debated this a decade ago!) as per the initial Scottish Meet.
Quod est demonstrandum.
Besides, FC'll hit ya if we don't go to the Scot Monument for the 10th meet! Spiney, Caroline, Joanna, where are you!

Reasonably well, thanks! My legs have let me down a little, though, so I'm not fit to follow people from place to place.
I'm looking forward to "listening in" online, though.

It did occur to me that over the past ten years we've gained the technology to allow us to, if not actually stream the whole meet live, at least do the log live. What remains to be seen is whether we actually have the mental capacity.
Might I propose a Twitter hashtag? #srg10 for example, seeing as some other group of chancers seems to be using #srg...
