The survivors are woken in the middle of the night by sounds coming from the plane's fuselage. When they step in to investigate, wild boars charge from the wreckage. Locke suggests that they hunt the boar, as food supplies are dwindling fast. Meanwhile, Jack discusses what to do with the dead bodies, which are attracting the attention of the island's wildlife.

It's finally agreed that they must be burnt, but some survivors are horrified by the suggestion. Elsewhere, Kate and Sayid try to locate the source of the French signal by setting up antennas around the island, but Kate drops and breaks her antenna when she sees the mysterious beast rampaging through the woods...

if there is a breeding colony that could help with the grub situation ,sometimes i get the feeling no one survived and the charachters are in their own version of hell

Well the are wild boar too plenty of grub

yeah i saw that one baldy comes back with a boar...the flashbacks are pretty good fills you in i envy the writers with that format they can go allmost anywhere

Mr John Locke he shares my surname and as we see he was a wheelchair user until the crash

apparently he was a spook as well with some kind of secret rank

Jack is struggling from lack of sleep, and begins to fear that he's losing his mind. He's deep in a flashback, remembering a time in the school playground when he stood up to a bully and got beaten up, when Charlie rouses him screaming for help. A woman is drowning, and Charlie can't swim. Jack snaps out of his daze and dives in to save her, but it's too late. The tide has already taken her.

Later, the survivors squabble when the water runs out, but one member of the group is secretly holding back supplies in order to trade them on.
