Microsoft are telling everyone to stop using their browser (I've been saying that for years):

P.S. I suggest this one instead:

I've recently noticed that we keep getting spam messages from ourselves.
Is this related?
And should I be worried?
Is there anything I can do, apart from deleting cookies and using a different browser?

All browsers have some security problems, especially if you're stupid enough to store your banking passwords on your browser for all to find(glares at chap at work who just got 2 grand downloaded from his bank account).smiley - rolleyes

However, Opera comes with a whole load of built in security to alert you when you click on a dodgy link, fraud protection, anti phishing features and it supports (ahem! - reads from techie blurb) Secure Socket Layer v3 (v2 is supposed to be pants, security wise) and TLS, which apparently gives it the highest available security of any Web browser. Opera 10 is going to have a built in spell checker too. smiley - cool
