Hi lordOrchy.

I don't look at the prices any more ... when I need petrol or diesel I just drive into the petrol station and fill up. It is too depressing and to stop myself from getting sad and angry I just fill up. I still use a petrol station where the prices are a few cents cheaper than the area. smiley - erm

Diesel is around £1.22/23 mark in north London but like Einmoto I'm not going to spend all day driving around to save a few pence - my current average weakly diesel bill is over £120 a week smiley - yikes

I don't drive, but the public transport ticket prices have gone waaaaay up - more than would be explained by the fuel price increase. smiley - steam

It's been going up and down a bit lately. At the moment we're glad when it's 1.42 Euros a litre. It's been over 1.50 at the worst of times.

I'll be happy with anything in the 80s for at least 6 months tbh.

I just bought filled in my tank for 1.21 Euro a litre (almost 0.98 pounds).

(By the way, it was "Super Bleifrei" - which one is it in English?)

Usually I take the 95, very occasionally 98 (usually before driving back from Reims to Bielefeld).

Filled my tank today at €1.20 per liter. The same gas station lowered prices by one cent to 1.19 two hours later. It's the Thursday low; I expect prices to go up again slightly by Friday noon - they always do smiley - sadface From my experience, Tuesday and Thursday are the cheapest days.

Oh, and I am talking Diesel. The gasoline sort of stuff (whatever it is, chemically) is more expensive, ranging from 1.23 to 1.36 or so for Super. Oh, and I am using a no-name gas station which usually weighs in at at least one cent less than the brand gas stations, sometimes up to 10 cent less...

Y.

Current price for unleaded 95 in Cyprus = €0.898. Allowing for the Sterling exchange rate (which is currently dire against the Euro) that makes it around £0.72 a litre.

i wonder if us english can get petrol exported from over there lol

€0.869 today for unleaded 95. It's gradually getting better. smiley - somersault

But...

The £GBP to €uro rate has dropped through the floor today, wiping that gain out, since I'm funded in Sterling. smiley - groan
