Just watched a programme on BBC4 about our Sun and it made me think about ... well everything.
Each morning I go for a short walk with my dog. Not being very religious in the church sense, I use this time to say thank you for all the things and people that I am grateful for.
We forget so many things in our lives and try to make this point to my children. These things range from my family, friends, my body, my environment, etc. etc.
How about you ...?

Life is great as far as we are healthy. Money and success doesn't count here. Our colleague's son got very ill, and it made all of us appreciate everything even more.
Definely, should be greatful for all little things (actually most important in life)

I've been planning to write the nice things down in a book ... I have started but never find time to write an entry ... similar to My Space here in HooToo.

If you take time, either every morning before you really wake up and get up or in the night, when you're lying in bed but not quite asleep yet, it's a really good time to remember something from the day that did or should have made you smile... Seeing someone talking to their child pleasantly, hearing a bird singing, a nice email or text you got from someone, seeing a nice patch of cloud that looked beautiful, there's always something and when you start appreciating them, you notice them more and more
Once you start doing it consciously you find yourself doing it unconsciously and it just happen, things occur to you that are beautiful, tiny miracles or reasons to Be Cheerful
