It's with a heavy heart that I must announce the end of the Universe, effective as of the 1st of April 2000...

Due to an administrative oversight on my part, the 'Infernal One' has taken out an injunction against MY Universe. This turn of events came about due to his foresight which lead him to officially patent my design for the Universe.

If you, as tenants, would like to make plans to vacate the area as soon as possible, Management would be grateful...

- Would the last person out, please turn the Sun off...

It's still here! Is the Inferenal one in charge now? Is he hiring?

Yes, I could see how people may have been a little dismayed about my posting, honestly though, the people who jumped off the nearest bridges upon hearing the news, did in hindsight, take it far too seriously (...even if they were fitted with a bungee ropes).

I had better clear up the misunderstanding...

I had to think fast to obviate the situation arising, luckily, I was struck by a bolt of lightning, (figuratively) and it occurred that the 'infernal one' herself; wasn't yet patented.

So, after a quick visit to the celestial patent office, it's was basically checkmate...

I repeat THE UNIVERSE IS NOW SAFE...!!! Well until I get bored with my night & day job...
