So many things are awesome, why not have a conversation about it with anyone else who cares?

They have so many smileys nowadays. I don't find that too awesome at all. How many are there? 3,000? More? Maybe like 1,000 smileys would have been awesome, but 3,000 is a bit lacking in awesomeness.
Awesomeness
Do you mean awesome in its original meaning of inspiring awe*, or in its contemporary meaning of something cool?
*awe being reverential fear or wonder.

I mean awesome in its awesome meaning: inspiring something awesome.
Actually, I don't truly know what I mean, I guess you could say that I mean awesome in its everything meaning. It could be inspiring awe as in, "his awesome power" or it could be something cool, like, "That car is awesome" or it could be a combination of the two, such as, "The awesome power of his car is awesome."
I have a website that sheds some light on this, but I'll post the name in bits, so that this post doesn't get cancelled. I'm not sure how web adresses on posts work here. Do they only get cancelled for broken links or for all links? I really don't know. Anyway, here goes:

hoped that worked. I tried to post this adress earlier, but my post got cancelled. Could someone please tell me whether or not post get cancelled just for having web adresses on them?
Anyway, yeah, I guess I mean awesome in the awesomest meaning possible.

Whatever I mean, those smileys are not too awesome. I see what some people see in them, but I find them to be lacking in awesomeness.

Hi there, me again. I realize now that I brake a house rule two posts ago and filed a complaint against myself. I made the mistake of trying to give out the address of my website. I didn't review the House Rules properly, so I didn't know.
To reply to your post though, I mean awesome in its awesome meaning: inspiring something awesome. I really don't know what I mean by awesome, I just go with the flow. If awesome fits, then awesome it is. It coupld inspire awe, like, "his awesome power" or be something cool, like, "that car is awesome" or it could be both, like, "his awesome power is awesome." Like I said before, if awesome fits, then awesome it is.

I was thinking about your postings when I went to my room last night. I was having such a great day that I decided to reward myself with some chocolate. I thought hmmm there's something awesome. I think it is awesome. I also managed to get to sleep fairly quickly which is pretty amazing considering the amount of cocoa in it which is what coffee is made from, right anyone?
and then when I came back to the postings, I thought of Bill and Ted, they were awesome althought they wouldn't say so themselves, more like "excellent".
what does anybody else think of a awesome? i'd like to hear, (awesome as in amazing, fabulously groovy, excellent party on, come on bring it on!)

Posting links is fine, unless the website itself contains content that breaks the house rules (or is merely commercia? It's been awhile since I read the houserules)

I'm pretty sure its commercial stuff. They dont want H2G2 to be a giant ad. I was reviewing the house rules yesterday and that's what it sounded like. And, ya know, I never saw the 2nd Bill and Ted movie. Only the first one. Was the second one any good?
