well Douglas Adams liked sofas and so do I
does your sofa have tea stains on it?
what is the most exciting thing your sofa has ever done?
what does your sofa think of you?
is your sofa visible or invisible...everyone should have one even if they don't have one.

my sofa turns into my bed it faces the tv when in sofa form, and faces the ceiling when in bed form. we had a wonderful discussion the other night, whilst in sofa form, about the order of the universe and how similar it is to the chaos of my bedroom floor
my sofa thinks i am funny
. but to date i haven't yet spilled anything on it. i think my sofa is called Malcolm
we've never actually been introduced. my sofa doesn't get on with my bedside cabinet you see so tensions run high when i try to indulge them in 3 way conversation

My Sofa is also a bed, but in the lounge, for visiting guests. So, in many respects, it probably gets to spend more time with visiting friends and relations than I do. As such, I imagine it prevents much tension and angst that otherwise might result, possibly in a simular way as a psychologist might help achieve such a thing. It has a reversible soft bit, which is very large, as it turns into double bed
one side that faces up is a little tea, curry, and various other things stained, but I don't know how to wash the cover, as it won't fit in the washing machine
the other side is however nice and clean; and this side is turned to face upwards when transforming my sofa into a bed. In many way, the sofa metamorphising into a bed is probably some kind of metaphore for something, only I can't figure out what

My sofa is oriental...it is a futon...not sure what nationality. It had a penchant for stubbing toes for a while...guess it wasn't getting much attention...but it really shouldn't go around tripping people...so I had to seperate it from its frame and put the frame in the corner for timeout.

the hidden dirty parts could be a metaphor too

I am not sure what my futon thinks of me....
(more to come after consulting the futon)

Sofa is cluttered with paper work and mobile phone, and cordless phone and things and rmote controls and CDRoms

My sofa is not also a bed and lacks stains of any sort but this doesn't stop me kipping downstairs upon it on hot muggy nights as we've had recently...

I keep thinking of giving my place a good 'clear out', its clean, I do cleaning pretty frequently, but its all the clutter and 'stuff' that accumjulates, and, when I make a feeble effort to sort it out, all that seems to happen is stuff gets moved about... useually onto the sofa a lot of job application stuff on it at the moment

a sofa is your friend...or your filing cabinet....maybe they are all named Malcom...and the sofa bed mattresses are named Zem

I am going to have to ponder on my ponderous sofa about the ponderability of such a ponderable debate

Nonametraveller Posted Jul 15, 2003
I will i will....and thank you kindly good sir...this pondering can be painful at times

Then may a I suggest taking comfortable repose upon a 'Pondering-Sofa' specially designed for the most painful of ponderences...

Therein lies the problem...the reason for my perpetual pondering....everytime i repose to ponder the ponderable upon the sofa bought for that very reason...i drop off to sleep before i am even half done!!!....nothing is ever resolved. Maybe i should change it for a chair.

You are of course perfectly correct....having just awoken from another glorious kip on the sofa it is hard to imagine how my thoughts could have developed in such a treasonable fashion.
