I went to my home page but how do you edit the page. I managed last night, but now in the gooey stuff
it just says "register" which I have already done. Last night it said "edit page" and "My details" what
am I doing wrong?

Are you running Netscape by any chance? Who's your ISP?

Sorry for the late reply, I have been doing other stuff over the last few days. I have just found out that I have to access h2g2 through the email I was sent after registering. I am running on Netscape but I don't know why (I don't know alot about the internet). My ISP is freeserve, but normally it runs on Internet Explorer ie 4. But the only way I can edit my page is through Netscape, because my registration email put me onto it. If I go to h2g2 through Internet Explorer I cannot edit my home page.
Thanks for all your help anyway.
Re-registering

I think you'll find that if you hit "register" again, you'll get a new mail with, hopefully, the same user page URL (it's all indexed by your e-mail address). Now open IE and go to that URL, and it'll bake you a new cookie - so now you can use IE. If that's what you want.
I don't know if that means Netscape will stop working, or if the cookies are fungible. I'm a bit of a tourist here myself, I'm afraid.
