That's a toughie: the Steelers have done it more recently and are coming from behind, but the 'Hawks have a *lot* of attitude this year.
I'm rooting for the Seahawks.

The Steelers made the Colts look like a bunch of little girls. I think the Hawks are going to have to work for it.

I am probably one of only five or six Americans who didn't watch the Superbowl, LOL.

But the commercials, how can you resist the commercials? The ad companies sweat blood the entire year to make Superbowl commercials the best America can offer, and this year I didn't see any real duds. 'Course, the best commercials America can offer are pretty cr*p next to the rest of the world...

You haven't seen the old commercials for Cherokee Casino then have you? Those are pretty funny. This year's commercials were pretty good. I liked the mortgage company ones.

just a thought- is american football just like rugby but without those big suits with the huge shoulder pads? and why is is football called soccer in the u.s when you actually use your feet to propel the ball in soccer?

Is it really like rugby? I guess all I really know about rugby is that it's soccer-ish, violent, and supposed to be a *lot* of fun.
Back a few posts... I'm not familiar with the Cherokee Casino commercials, no. My favorite commercials of all time, though, are the British Pepto-Bismol set from the mid-eighties, with the pink dragon (Clifford?) Poor thing suffered from indigestion from too much rich food and late knights.

American Football is like Rugby. Just take away the bad suits, the advertising, the advertising, the advertising, and the advertising. And the make-up. You don't see rugby players wearing make-up.

p.s. England for the Grand Slam!
