As I typed these I know there must be a common thread running through them but for the life of me I cannot see what it is

* Acrobat viewer - because I spend more time looking at it's stupid "Checking for updates" screen in an given day than pretty much anything else

* Mullingar - because it is an awful place to get stuck in a traffic jam

* The piezo-electric speaker - because small electronic things (phones, toasters, microwaves, video recorders etc) should not beep to attract your attention; they should wait their turn quietly

* Writers block - because, erm....

why pfffft?

1. Football because don't see the point in kicking a bag of wind about.

2. Maggie Thatcher because she ruined the UK

3. Dog turds because the always end up on your feet or wheels in my case.

4. Hard Drugs because the are the scurdge of the World
