The world should be flat!

I'm currently forced to accept that the world is round, however I would like to register a protest. This is a very inconsiderate design for those of us who have to live here, and was obviously just done to make life easier for the designer, not us the users.
Designers like round worlds, because it solves a lot of physics problems for them without them having to put any additional thought into it. A little more effort could have resulted in far greater utility. All those excuses about it not mattering since humanity won't invent global communications for tens of thousands of years are just that - excuses!
The reason for my dissatisfaction is simple. Timezones. If the world were flat, it could be the same time everywhere. This would have many benefits, but the only one I care about is being able to actually talk to people I know in the USA and other distant places without waking them up at 3am.
I've got myself so over excited now that I'm tempted to form the Flat Earth Activists Society. Never mind all that nonsense about believing it is flat. The Flat Earth Activists Society wants to get it CHANGED to be flat! Join today!

I agree,
It's rather annoying to have to get up in the morning at 10 o'clock at night, half an hour before one goes to bed, just to be able to talk to those people one happens to know elsewhere on the planet.
So let's try and change it! One thing though, how do we handle gravity?

Umm.. make the flat earth also very thick? No, I suppose we'd all have to walk at a strange angle to the ground unless we were at the middle. Er.. how about positioning the flat earth a decent distance away from a very heavy object? The distance would minimise the effect caused by the spherical shame of the object's gravitational field. Maybe?
Actually, rather than trying to solve this I think that in the grand tradition of protests we should find out who was responsible for this mess and complain to them until they do something.

Where would it be cut?
And what countries would we put at opposing ends?
And what should happen if I fell off?
And would there be something hidden secretly underneath?
There are too many questions here that need to be answered?
NEED TO BE ANSWERED!!!!

When the sun is coming up on one side of the earth, the sun is setting on the other side. all the birds on the first side, take off and all the birds on the second side come in to roost. The resulting imbalance is what makes the world go around.
if every body had the same time zone, the birds would all land or take off at the same time causing the earth to bob up and down instead of rotate. Can u imagine the effect that this would have on kangaroos and other hopping creatures?
