So I'm curious if TV commercials in Britain are like the ones here. All the commercials seem to imply one thing: Buy our stuff, and you'll get laid. I'm wondering if British TV commercials are this inane? What are some of the most ridiculous TV commercials? Here in the U.S., the most annoying commercial is a deodorant commercial, where a guy is partying with four beautiful women, it implies they have an orgy, and all because he's wearing AXE brand deodorant.

Well some British commercials / adverts are overly sexual like The Herbal Essances 'Totally Organic Experience' play on words Orgasmic?

There are some very good ones however like the Audi one and the new Guineuss advert

Yes there is watch the advert again......... the man aks the woman 'where are my socks' she says with a smirk after a totally organic experince with her shampoo 'in the draw next to your loin cloth'

What on earth is sexual about a man asking a woman where his socks are?

We've had the "orgasmic experience" commercials here in the States for years...lol
The woman is taking a shower, washing her hair, and going, "Yes, yes, yes!" and it's a public shower, and there's another woman in there who says to herself, "I've got to get some of that shampoo."

We've also got lots of commercials for Geico Auto Insurance, where there's always a character who's in a bad situation, like in court on trial, and they give the verdict of "Guilty," the judge gives him his sentence, and says, "However, there is good news." and the guy on trial perks up, and the judge says, "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico." They're corny as hell, but still manage to give you a chuckle because it's always a complete non sequitir.
