Blizzard action out there, thankfully it was today and not yesterday.
Yesterday was my birthday.. I turned the big thirty and one.
But I tell people I turned 29 again.
I guess I shouldn't complain, I still get ID'd - it used to get old now that I've surpassed 30 its just fun to see the other shock on peoples faces.
My best friend took me out for dinner in my fave place - Yum. A nice little Inn that has the best food on the planet and their own horseradish to go with.
Then it was home with a few drinks before crashing relatively early with a headache, which I believe was because I am used to a certain amount of tea after my morning coffee and yesterday I had none, the day was just too busy having fun lol.
Sadly enough only she remembered - locally at least. And my entire family but an aunt forgot. So with them included in the numbers 4 people remembered and one only because he saw it written by my aunt on facebook.
Kinda makes me wonder at the same time.. but I have decided that short of making bets on how long it takes people to realize that they forgot I am not really thinking about it.
I am trying to be less negative then i was last year, not a resolution because no one ever keeps those but a goal. It's been turning out relatively well.
I ended up getting magnetic book marks for my bday in the basket of other things - funny because I had just seem them online and thought OH! Because my kitten likes to steal my book marks out of my books while I sleep.
I had taken to keeping track on my good reads page rather then using book marks, now I can do both, and not need to look it up to read the next bit of my books.
Yes, I read that much that it actually makes that much of an impact LOL.
Now to just keep her from being able to steal the veggies out of the pigs cage and I will almost have something.

Hey, belated happy 29th!
Hmm, as a well kinda , subtly recommended reading-I s'ppose depending on availability of library resources-a with the only somewhat misleading title 'Philosophy Made Simple'. I had found a Large Print copy on sale for $2-combats late-night eye fatigue & it was a great story too(imho), which was nice. Let's see ISBN 0-7862-8844-2 don't tell me you've read it...
