Perhaps it was created as an interim meeting place when we were unsure what the future of h2g2 was going to be. As to why you are listed then scratched off, I don't have a clue. You'll have to ask anonymouse, who is listed as the moderator of the list. It also looks like it is currently inactive.

That's happened to me, repeatedly, an h2g2 conversational item of mine coming up along with other forum material in response to a google search.
I personally wish that Google would categorize better, differentiating between different kinds of material.

It's quite old group, in fact. Those who are crossed out have deleted their LJ account, no mystery there. I haven't used LJ for few years by now, and the group was there long before that.
