I used to like Willie Rushton telling the Pooh stories, I also used to like Kenneth Williams telling all the nonsense stories cos he has such an aray of silly voices

Ok, I'll explain, Jacanory was a childrens TV show where a famous person would tell a story, the show was about 15 minutes a day and the whole story usually took a week to tell. Some storytellers alway read they same stories, Willie Rushton always told Pooh stories, Bernard Cribbins told Mortimer the Crow stories, Kenneth Williams told nonsense stories et al. I quite often went and got the book after seeing a story told on Jackanory, once even Prince Charles told a story on Jackanory

for the record I did actually know what it was, but it *does* have my name in it 
could be a great idea it coming back, depends how they do it. If it has famous people in it kids may be more inclined to listen to stories its true 
as long as they arent like so last week
