A Conversation for The World's Best Beaches
Brazil, dear researchers, Brazil!

Indeed, the subject of "Best Beaches In The World" ought not be discussed without mention of Brazil.
The interior of the Northeast of Brazil is a desert. Not a completely desolate, Sahara like desert, though, it is more like a fairly green with scrubby little plants, Arizona kind of desert. The coast, on the other hand, is generally made up of beautiful beaches backed by either gigantic sand dunes or reddish brown sandstone cliffs. On the inland side of many of these sand dunes are freshwater lakes.
The coastline is dotted with small fishing villages, many of which have at least rudimentary facilities for catering to the occasional (or common, depending on which fishing village you are talking about) tourist. Care to see a wider variety of fishing techniques than you could dream of on your own? You can do it on the coast of Ceara. Would you like to learn of previously unheard of fruits on a daily basis, and then eat them? This, too, can be done at any number of tiny towns along the coast of Ceara.
Drink through a straw from a chilled coconut. Enjoy equatorial star gazing far from the glare of city lights. Eat fantastic seafood and unimaginable fruit. Tan like you've never tanned before. Speak Portuguese. Glide down a dune on a waxed ski-like board into a fresh water lagoon. Rent a dune buggy and a driver and drive at angles unheard of outside of a geometry text. Sleep in a hammock. Dream of teeny-tiny thongs while the air wafts gently all around you in your hammock. Hike up the biggest dune you see and watch the sunset. Begin to feel like you could do without winter altogether.
In short, visit a beach in the Northeast of Brazil.
