I accept said challenge. Despite the fact I don't think I'll ever, ever, ever wear a t-shirt that looks like that smiley - winkeye

You just want an excuse to mention Lucas Radebe, don't you?

I saw the Chiefs before they had a hit with 'I Predict A Riot' - it was at a night at the Scala in Kings Cross that was 'curated' by Franz Ferdinand. They didn't play themselves, and the headline act was a godawful duo called The Kills. But the Kaiser Chiefs were great - they came on stage and two of them were wearing sharp suits, one had a Fred Perry on and one was wearing a pork pie hat and I thought 'hang on, I'm going to like this'.

And I half-remember a decent quote which I think from Ricky Wilson and went along the lines of 'the only difference between us now and us when we were called Parva is that Peanut wears a hat'.

No, hang on, it was Nick Hodgson and it's here:

Well I do want to mention the Chief, yeah... To be fair, I saw them 'before they were famous' as it were so I thought I might as well volunteer.

Cheers for the quote and the article.

A20461628 in PR, free from any Leeds United references. Might have to rectify that.

I was about to ask for it, but wanted to check the entry first, in case my memory deceived me. You have to put the reference, if you ask me. smiley - smiley
