Does anyone accept the Editors' T-shirt Challenge to write an Entry on Web 2.0?

To be honest, the whole concept of Web 2.0 confuses me. I think it's the idea of putting creative content in the hands of users. Like YouTube and MySpace and so on. That you need no knowledge of web technologies to be able to create something that exists on the web.
The main reason it confuses me is that it's been happening here for years, and it's only because everyone else has now caught on that it's got named 'Web 2.0'.
Please correct me if I'm getting that wrong.

What about this entry: A10441360 which is currently in Flea Market?

That seems a good basis, though it need a fair bit of editing. Some of it is just too silly.

I tend to agree. Web 2.0 is a fancy name for an old concept. Heck - h2g2 techincally is web 2.0. It's hard to get excited about it. But if nobody else wants it...

Oh, I'd be prepared to give it a go. The research involved may help to clear up some of my confusion.

Right, my Flea Market cut and paste is at A20263899. Hopefully I'll make some sense out of it, and reform it into a decent entry.
