I'm having trouble finding some information for my entry on Wolcott Gibbs. I still don't know
1. where he grew up
2. what newspaper he worked on before joining the New Yorker
3. what he died of
Chocolate and credit to anyone who can provide the information.
Oh... and there' some other Wolcott Gibbs out there who was a chemist. Not him. The writer one.

Well, I know he was born and grew up and died on Fire Island in his family home. Does that help any?
