Maybe we should set up an H2G2 dating agency? No, forget I ever said that!
What I want to know is how come it's suddenly winter? Not fair.

It's not winter, it's spring!
Erm... Never mind... I've been on Perth time too long. (And -I- live in the -States-! )

Of course they get winter in Perth! Of course, their "freezing out there" temp is around 69F ... They can't understand when feriners go swimming at 22C.

Cold and wet all of a sudden. Random dating would be fun - could get ANYbody!! What a thought!

Poor loves, you've got to feel for them. My parents used to be the same. They lived in the Middle East, and used to moan constantly about the cold winters - 30C! Even used to insist I take a jumper with me when I went out, just in case I caught a cold!!

Could be terrifying!!! Meeting up might be a bit of a problem, or would we have private forums where lovestruck H2G2ers could post sweet nothings?
I'm working myself up to starting a "Find love in H2G2" page!!
Merkin - Small rug-like object, warm and comfortable. Interests include Limericks, GMOs, the Death Penalty, and contemporary Latin. Seeks similar for rhyming slang and fishy frolics.

Well if you'd get your seasons round the right way.
Imagine not being able to go to the beach & swim on Christmas day....

Why do you think they have the long winter breaks at Uni? So the profs and students can buzz down to Floriday and it the beaches!
(Oh wait.. that's Spring break. )
Heh.. I think he was just glad to be out of the hundred-something-degree-Fahrenheit (D**n! I spelled it right! ) temperatures for a while.

To pledge their true love in a forum,
We ask that they post with decorum,
And if they should meet,
Would romance be sweet?
Or would their blind dates just ignore 'em?
I don't know how I do it, for t'brass.

I'll let you know which. I too have just taken this bold step. So far? Expensive! (Though we love each other dearly and she irons my pants - what more could a man ask for?)
