You would be surprised at some of the things you can find on a train,
a simple hairgrip you will find on every train. Then there are the finds that are dependent on weather conditions. Hat's, gloves, umbrellas and scarfs have been found regularly. Then there are the phones that people leave behind, they find a new home in the railways stations lost and found box waiting to be collected.So if you loose one on a train please contact them as it might have been found and handed in 
The most unusual find to date must be the Stradivarius violin that was made in 1732, a beautiful instrument and one I thought I would never see in my life, it was a joy to hand it in and to find out that it had been reunited with it's owner, thanks to the fact that he had enclosed his contact detail's within the case.Although he was stunned to find out that it had been found and handed in.
This being said I would like to remind you all that should you travel by train please check that you have all your belongings with you when you leave it.
