So sorry for the delay in getting back to you TVF.
Monsy was deeply hurt by some postings a few weeks ago.
She decided to disappear for a while, but hopefully I (and others)have been able to talk her into coming back.
If you would like to know more, please email me!
[email protected]
I have passed on your concern to Monsy, which was greatly appreciated.

I do believe I have also heard of such bad goings on, and can't blame Monsy for taking a break. But I'm looking forward to her coming back though!

i have decided to return....did so a few days or so back....though i will admit that my return is as a bit wiser and more cautious participant in h2g2. i am saddened to see that what h2g2 started out as seems to have changed so drastically, i can recall a time not too long ago when everyone worked their arses off to be kind and helpful, when the researchers treated everyone like long lost relatives. not now though, seems there are more and more researchers out there who are instead viewing themselves as superior to everyone else, who forget that the words they read and respond to were placed there not by an unfeeling computer but by a living breathing person with feelings. this i think is the problem with having such extensive technology, everyone becomes used to the coldness of the machines and tend to forget the humanity that runs them.
ok, sorry...soapbox attack, i promise not to let that happen too often

Oh, if you're referring to me attemting to sound superior to others...with my technology and all...please understand that that's just my VR life, not RL in any way!

Welcome back Monsy! I've also been away, but only because my *other* life gets in the way of h2g2 much more than it used to.......

Sometimes it's just good to relax in a forum with old friends, not worry about any kind of role-playing... and certainly not worry about rushing round looking for articles! I think that I needed that week off from the Post!

Big C...I did not mean to poke at you in what i said earlier. if it ended up being worded to where it looked like i might be doing that then ooops, sorry...really i am terrible at times when it comes to trying to say what i mean...people tell me i suffer from hoof in mouth syndrom hehe!!
Shazz...truer words were never spoken i think the break was much needed and long overdue. all work and no play tends to turn someone into a zombie and zombies are no fun...well, not unless you can combine them with a chilling plot like 'the search for the lost cherry' or something like that then they can be quite fun
TVF...how dare RL keep you from us!! you march RL over here right now and let me give it a stern talking to!! it should know better by now, lord knows i have corrected it many times before

It's OK Monsy...I'm sure you didn't mean it to me...
As for just relaxing in forums, forgetting your Vr self, I do that as well, and I like to hang around with people on h2g2. But, as I've mentioned in most of my articles, I prefer to delve deeper into my VR life, so it's as if I have two lives. Naturally, with exams and things, RL is more important...but...

I don't think so either... maybe there is something umentionable hidden in here causing us all to avoid the place?

Oh hell...sorry...
*teleports his strange assortment of foreign cheeses from the near vicinity, where he had been hiding them in case of...in case of...erm...well, in case of emergencies!*
I take a fine collection with me to most places! You never know when they could become handy!

*Wafts air freshener about and lights a few of Monsy's perfumed candles*
There, that's much better Mayeb you should actually eat those cheeses before they try to escape on their own next time Big C!

Well...looking at them now, you could stick a fork of lightning through them and start the process of Eolution all over again!
Oh BTW, thanks for entioning the h2g2 Realisation Poject in The Post! Should be very useful!
And the Astroengineering thread on the Space Station has been deleted at last!
