Hello,
I would like to submit my article for review. I have been writing wedding speeches since 1999 and I like to think of myself as an authority on my subject.
The Bill Oddie of the speechwriting world; but not as annoying.
Best Wishes
Malcolm.

Hello speechwriter. This will be a popular entry and very well set out.
The entry is good as far as it goes, please consider more content, examples of what to say and what not to say in each of the areas.
The site you refer to looks very professional, I could find no sign of anyone selling anything on the site, please confirm that that is the case. Its just that its bad form to advertise (and I am sure you are not advertising) and others will ask.
Excellent
Bob

Yes we do Opti but this entry is about the Groom's speech.
Welcome Speechwriter, if you take a look at the link Opti left for the Best Man's Speech you'll see one way of writing an entry on speeches. You've made a good start here but this would need plumped out a bit and and first person references removed.
Hope you haven't had too much experience at delivering the Groom's speech.

This seems to be a good start but I agree that it could do with being plumped out a bit. For example, is it ok for the groom to do a funny speech, like the Best Man often does, or should he keep it a bit more formal? What sort of things might he joke about?

Hi, speechwriter!
Nice start on a very nice entry. The writing guidelines do not allow first person references, something we all have to learn. Try to rephrase your opening, maybe something like 'There are plenty of articles about...'
I noticed a missing space, before 'but', although there may be other errors:
"suggestions to help the Father of the Bride;but nothing"
Something I'd like to see you add is things to avoid saying. There must be information on avoiding le grande faux pas.

I'm a bit concerned about this being an advertisement. In nearly all postings by this author, he's been plugging his site; when he joined, it was a different site, but still a plug...
And while the site has a few speechwriting tips, its primary purpose seems to be luring you to use their professional (paid) service.
