Green: Vote for us if you want to waste a vote on idealism and don't mind seeing Labour or Conservative get in again.

>and it will remain the property of the government - they can take it away at anytime<
Just like your passport and your credit card are the property of the governbemtnt and your bank now you mena? And can be withdrawn at any time either of them feel like it?
Besides - anybody actually keeping up with the debate rather than just shouting 'New labour New Evil' so they can't hear it would know that the government abandoned the bit about being able to take it away when they wanted to get it through the Lords.

I saw something today that the id card database is going to be used as a centralised citizens database for the govt. The project they had to do that has been folded and the functions may be applied to the new DB. Haven't read enough yet to know the implications of this.

IT wise it's bound to be a complete shambles, but I suspect somebody will notice that long before it becomes a reality and simply cut back on what is stored on it.
Otherwise no. I think ithas huge potential benefits for health service staff, banks and benefit agencies.
So basically, no, it doesn't worry me.

Well it wopuldn't worry you - you think Labour are OK - Are you still happy when there's a Tory government ? Or if a minority party gains a few seats and forms a collaboration ?

Right I'm going to tell you this for the last time, because I'm bored of telling you it.
I *do not* think Labour are ok. I think they are the best of a very very por selection. I actually think most of them are dishonest, stupid and lazy.
It wouldn't actually bother me whatever party was in power.
Got it?
