(I hope this is the right sort of thing to post here)

My works for an agency now. And last week he came home and said "you _really_ HAVE to get this 'menu translation service' that you're dreaming about up and running"

At which he tossed a few photocopied pages onto my lap.

I read through, with and The Gruesome Twosome watching to see what happened when I came to the REALLY bad translation. On the way i met these:

Soup of nobly fish with rice (that would be Edelfischen)

Gnoccis in sage butter swaged with parmesan cheese stamped in smoked ham (eingeschlagen in Räucherschinken)

Pork schnitzel "Viennese Style" with lemon, anchovy, and to capture (that took me a while until I saw Kapern)

ok but here is the one...

Fried Zanderfilet with tonsils butter, turned potatoes to ti creamed spinach - well I was with tears streaming down my face... "tonsils butter" - Mandelbutter

and for dessert

Peach melba (peach, vanilla ice, raspberry sauce, cream, tonsils)


hehehe

So the question is... should I rejig their menu and contact them?

Tonsils butter? If I saw that when I was deciding what to eat I'm not sure if I'd chuckle at the translation or find another restaurant.
