Yes, that's an extremely good point.... I had that thought myself. I think it should be safe though. It's a Peter Murphy t-shirt. It has his picture on the front and on the back and over the picture on the back is the writing. I'm always cold so I usually wear a sweater so it's often covered anyway.

Just had a look at your web site. So you have a Mac too? I have been thinking about one for myself ( web thingy) but just don't have the time.
One thing I noticed, I couldn't increase the text size, which I usually can. Being somewhat older and with not such good eyesight as I once had, I sometimes have to increase the text to rad it easily. Did you do anything to stop that happening or is it embedded in the site? Totally ignorant. just asking.
The photos of your view from your kitchen window were lovely btw.

Thanks for taking a look at my website I didn't do anything to stop you making the text size bigger that I know of. Perhaps it is just set up that way? Do you think that I should increase the size of my text?
I highly recommend making a web page, I had a ton of fun with it.
I do have a Mac. I remember some time ago asking here for advise on if I should get one or not. It took me a long time to save up for it but I eventually did it. I don't think I'll ever go back. My Mac works like a dream.

Sounds like making your own page is quite a popular thing. I've done Google searches for things and come up with someone's own site and their "personal guide to..." or whatever. If you've got the ability and something to put on a website it's great to do it.

I think whether or not you have something to put on a website is just a matter of opinion. Mine is just me rambling on for anyone who might be interested. I don't know if it really serves any practical purpose. I thought it was fun. One thing though is that no one can comment on it unless you leave an email there. I'm not sure whether to do that or not. I wouldn't use my RL email of course, but some free hotmail one or something. Still.... I don't know...

AL, I think it might be nice to increase the text size a little. I can usually increase the size on any web page, but occasionally I can't. If you have good eyesight it is fine, but mine isn't as good as it used to be and I find small text a struggle.
Glad you like your Mac. I am thrilled with mine. Used a couple of old ones for seven years, so this is a real leap into the 21st century for me, and a joy. There are still things are I can't access on the web without downloading loads of plug ins etc. but it is a small price to pay for such a sleek piece of kit.
I would try an email - an anonymous one perhaps- it is a way of making friends, and if you find it troublesome you can remove it.
I will try and take a look now and again. It looks really nice so far.

Thanks so much for your advise WS. I think I'll follow it. It will have to wait a bit though. At the moment I'm helping my parents paint the upstairs hallway. Its so small! I didnt realise it could take so long to do!

My son went into school to get his exam results with a t-shirt that said "I was born intelligent but education ruined me"
