I've hundreds of plastic bags, they are everywhere, I have some drawers in the kitchen, and all but one is stuffed full of plastic bags, there is a large plastic bag on the radiator, and it is filled with other plastic bags that are filled with other plastic bags, I got a new plastic bag today when I went to the bakery, and I put it in the top drawer in teh kitchen, there are also plastic bags, in the corner of the kitchen, between the window and the units, behind the mop and bucket, and at the back of the sofa, and underneath the computer desk, and outside in the street hundreds and hundreds of plastic bags float down the street lik e phantoms, and in my bedroom millions and millions and millions and hundreds and thousands of plastic bags, filling the room, filling the whole house, down teh staircase to teh door, hundreds of millions of carrier bags and plastic bags, filling the whole house, I'm Trapped I can't escape the plastic Bags! HELP!

We were getting close to 2legs predicament when we realised that you are allowed to thrown them away - no matter how useful it would be to have one or two plastic bags handy at some point in the future.

You mean I'm allowed to throw some of the plastic bags away? The idea hadn't occured to me

No. It still hasn't occured to most of the rest of the people in this household. Open cupboards and be buried in Tesco/Sainsbury/Aldi/Icleand avalanche. I think things got worse when S'bury started rewarding you for bringing them back. It gave everyone a sense of false hope that they would remember to take the bags in with them when they went shopping and earn loads of money. Some hope!

I really should go sort them out some time...

I've been using them as liners for the kitchen bin for years!!

And we have never actually run out of them

I use black bags for the kitchen bin, as its too big for a carrier bag to fit in it, and it gets heavy and full a lot, so the black bags are good as they don't split I just made a couple of additions to my personal space
