I have a couple of sayings I try to follow:

I have attempted to rewrite the above researcher's doctrine (more clumsily) to suit me:
May your meals be edible.
May all your plates be full
May all your stomachs be replete.
May your glass be charged.
Furthermore, may your conscience be clear.
May your dreams be pleasant
May your relationships be solid
And may your health be good.
But most of all!
Acknowledge your friends.
Praise your family.
Greet each morning with a smile
And give thanks for every day!
Clumsy, I know, and if anyone can tidy, or make it flow, please do.
I would 
to have my own 'doctrine'.
At present I reply to 'How are you?' with 'Wonderful!'.
I am starting to get bored with that!
