Existential Elevator

It's from a Dickens novel, I think Nicolas Nickelby, but it was mentioned in the Isaac Asimov book I just finished reading and the word "calumny" was mentioned in the book I'm reading now. Actually, the book I'm reading now I'm reading with a dictionary, because I'm sure the guy's making up words as he goes along... smiley - erm

Lol, what book are you reading now? I'm currently on Pratchett's The Colour Of Magic.

"The meaning of things: applying philosophy to life". Although it makes a few good points, it's just so damned bland. Very middle of the road, and I just don't like that approach.
Is it your first Pratchett one? I wouldn't normally recommend starting on that one, I think you'd enjoy "Pyramids" or "The Lost Continent" much more smiley - smileysmiley - ok

EE: Try 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.' IMHO, bet book ever.

'Colour of Magic' is so far the only TP book I have read, and I thought it was pretty good.
