I don't know if you'd call not doing art anymore being a failed artist! Especially since it's done for financial reasons. I'm sure you'll come to a point in your life when you can go back to it. Maybe you could refer to yourself as being on hiatus (like the tv shows).

Anyway, back to business:

If you ever want to talk to a Researcher, just click on their name. That will take you to their Personal Space, and you can leave them a message there (like I'm doing now!) by clicking on the 'Discuss this Entry' button.

The wimping out on art thing is fairly accurate because I made some decisions and one of them was that skiing was more meaningful to me then my art. Since I could only do one, art went bye bye. Oh well. Give it a couple of years, hopefully.
