Very good, Dmitri, but I'm looking for four-letter answers, as you might have guessed.
Any takers for numbers 2 and 7?
Also, as gull and rook appear elsewhere, you might want to find two alternative answers for 9. (think of 'fool' as a noun). One's a bit obscure.
