A cup of this always goes down very well in the morning. The proper stuff is all very well, but the ritual of it makes one sort of sleepy. Unless one is lucky enough to have it made for one. Where is one's man?! Crivens! Crivens where are you? Oh, here he is next to me in bed. There's such a thing as taking feudal loyalty too far...
Meanwhile I'm reminded of the cartoonists' lounge Scrabble competition. I still claim that x, j, pawn, g, east wind, draft, cough sweet, u, farthing doesn't spell 'dirigible', but without the proper tiles we'll never know. And, as they're probably all down the back of the comfy chair, we must leave it to some future archeological survey to find them.

Oh my goodness...
~Greebo grimaces in disgust at the very thought~...
Imagine anyone wanting to delve into the murky depths of the 'back of the comfy chair' quite makes the fur on the back of me neck stand to attention...
~Greebo brushes her hair flat with a careful paw~
In fact... it might be best if we do not mention this ever again me thinks... after all... tis said that people of a nervous disposition sometimes read conversatoins around here!!!

You're absolutely right Greebo, this is why I advise leaving it to the hapless archeological team when we've all toddled off this mortal whatsit. To delve into the comfy chair with its encumbent occupant would be ill advised unless one likes to play fast and loose with one's watch and wrist bones.

One wonders what goes on in the dark recesses of the cartoonists minds, doesn't one Greebs? Good thing us s have our heads screwed on eh!
Now, where was that ?
disdainfully yours.

EEK!!! Greebs, you sadistic little pussy, you!!
It sounds rather a drastic solution, anyway, imagine the disappointment when you discover nothing but fluffy blue clouds inside!

I knew there were clouds, but I always expected them to be a sinister green shade, dripping in watercoloury artistry.
