Hi,
I think a utility, to convert MS Word files to GuideML, would be an asset. As far as I know, no such utility exists. Would you consider providing one?

There is currently a GML editor which makes life a little easier. It's not WYSIWYG but if you put all your text in then it's easier to put the tags round

Even if they were to make a convertor the word docs would have to be done in such a pedantic way that the convertor could understand them it would be almost easier to do the GML.
If it's not Edited Guide GML you're after you can always save as HTML and copy and paste the bits you need from the dource it provides.

Thanks, E G, I am downloading guidepost now. If I remember, (I have a terribly memory!) I shall let you know how I get on.

It exists!
Open Office will open Microsoft Word files. It's a free program. And Open Office will save files in GuideML, if you also install Guide Dog. I downloaded it yesterday, but haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
