Your list of "Accented Letters" is incomplete. It does not include the l-bar used in Polish. (Looks like an l with a line through it: You could do a reasonable approximation with l, but I think the line should really be at a slight upward slope.) This is HTML character entity 322.
When I copied and pasted a word containing this letter into a conversation post and hit preview it came out as ł, and changed to that in the text entry box, too.
I suspect that, following the pattern laid out in this entry, the GuideML code would work. I'll test that.

Yes it does, in prieview, anyway.
Whether it would work in all browsers I know not.
