I see you've decided to use GuideML. I was hoping you wouldn't, because people inevitably use non-standard GuideML which is more work for the sub-editor to change later.

If you want to correct the GuideML, here are the details:

1. Don't use Subheaders. Use Headers. Subheaders are only if you want to break up a section that has already been separated from the rest of the entry by using headers.

2. Don't make the subheaders bold.

3. Put a at the start of every paragraph and a corresponding at the end of each paragraph. This applies even if the paragraph is only a single line long.

Thank you, it does read a lot easier with the paragraph breaks in it. As for using GuideML, I did that to make putting headers in easier.

These transport devices make using the stairs difficult if not impossible and it is usually vitally important for these people to be transported as quickly as possible.

One good thing is that, for once, 'vitally important' is actually taken in the proper sense. However, is it 'usually' actually vital?

During the ride bit: is there any etiquette rule regarding staring contests? I'm sure that gawking into a nearby decollete is frowned upon, but what about just looking at the person in front of you? It is a bit silly to gaze at the ceiling just to avoid appearing inquisitive.

Also, a problem I have is, where should I move when I enter a lift? If I go many floors away, I would try to go towards the back, unless this means pushing everybody else. If I go just one floor away () I stay close to the door. Also I try not to position myself just in front of the buttons, unless there is no other reasonable option.

As far as I can tell it is. Unless there is anything that someone else sees to be added, subtracted, or just changed.

The only thing I would say is that in this section:

"Next you should either press the button of the floor that you wish to go to or if you can not reach the buttons without pushing people out of your way, you should politely ask the person standing nearest the buttons to do so. That person should do this without acting put out. You should only press the number of the floor you wish to go to unless you are also pressing the button for someone else. It is not advisable to allow small children to press these buttons."

I think it would also be worth mentioning that if you are the one near the buttons, it is polite to ask the other occupants which floor they would like.
