.....rather odd looking human fellow, standing on the beach. Dressed in tophat and tails, and appearing to be all but "carnival"....what with the strange pointy beard and all.

Glim noticed several ropes tied to some rather large wooden stakes which had been driven into the sand. His curiosity stirred, his eyes followed one of the ropes up to its' destination........where they grew as wide as an owls' on a moonless night!

"W-W-W-What in the Land of Tails is *that* thing!?.....

that my dear is a rope and those my dear are stakes....silly thing, should of been obvious to any passing fool
