h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Blimey have I been busy. I'm a member of a samba group and it's great. I've already done a busking stint that drew a huge crowd and worked backstage on a gig.

The gig in question was the samba clubs birthday , apparently the idea for the group was born in a pub ten years ago and in that time many people have passed through its doors and there's been marriages, babies and more. On the night of the party I helped by giving out gold wrist bands, chatted with my new found acquaintances including my capoeira mestre who surprised me by his talent for singing and tried to squeeze a big prop in the shape of a gold sun through the doors of the venue. At one point I was called upon to meet a reporter with one of the samba guys we went out of the building via the fire exit, then were told that we couldn't use that exit, we tried to return the way we came but alas the doors were locked and they opened one way. While he tried to phone for help and found a new way of using drum sticks, I ran round the front to find one of the dancers saying 'well I don't know where they've got to'. Sadly my way was barred by a gate to them but at last I'd got help. Later that evening, the party got into full swing and I met up with people I hadn't seen for ages, taught one of them how to samba and was promptly dragged on stage at the end of the gig by the girls. Who have claimed me as one of theirs now. The night ended about 1am with me trying to get some sleep before heading to work. Since then I've been trying to claw back sleep.

This weekend I will be showing off my moves in a parade. On top of this I have been working a full time shift and trying to fit in h2g2. I tell you this place seems to have boomed in the amount of Entries being produced.

Not very good at dancing and tried to learn the salsa steps but I have two left feet.
