I hope everyone had a good Easter

It makes a nice change to be able to spend several days with my bf and that's exactly what I did for Easter. I also worked on the house and was served up some lovely meals. I read books and in doing so found myself yet again feeling the urge to help people through helping them to read and write but I don't know where to look for such a job.

Anyway enough about me, how did you all spend your break?

I didn't do anything for Easter, but I was hanging out in a playground with my sister on Easter afternoon and found two left over Easter Eggs from a hunt that morning. I threw them at the basketball backboards.

i managed to do a bit on the house on the saturday, and sunday i went to the cyber, and had tea in town.

monday i went out to the cyber at about 2pm. till 4pm, then home, and watched anything that was half decent on the tv lol jim xx

Me, I didn't have a break. we had 190 people in. Roll on this weekend. I actually - shock, horror - have the whole thing off, like normal people do

Is there a particular age group you want to teach Opti? There's a different qualification if you want to teach adults for example.

Good Friday morning was spent in Newcastle, and Milly threw the biggest tantrum of her life when it was time to leave the Discovery Museum as she didn't want her shoes put back on, but then she was still tired after the cold earlier in the week. PSG spent most the weekend either doing DIY or panicking over whether he'd done the DIY right while I looked after Milly and cleaned the house. On Saturday the car got a puncture and PSG had to change the tyre in the sleet while I tried to entertain Milly in Sainsburys. On Sunday there was more DIY/cleaning followed by the Easter Sunday roast, which PSG's Mum prepared so I got a break. On Monday it was PSG's brother's birthday, the only meal I had to prepare was breakfast and we spent the day making a point of doing very little. However, with only 5 weeks until the baby's due I think the next few weekends will be very busy

I would like to teach adults to read.

I am enjoying reading what you all did.

Then have a look at your local college and see what courses there are . MIght be a problem if you start studying just now though, if you're going to be moving soon
