Oer the fields we go
Where the farmers like to reap and sow
And plant the crops upon the fields
And let them alone to feed on the elements, to grow

And water glides freely
Running its course over stones to murky depths below

We see birds sitting all in a row
Overhead where the telephone wire
Doth run and cause set telephones off below

But there we sit in the evening sun,
Relaxing when the day is done,
Drinking tea and having fun
Eating a cherry from a large iced bun.

We walk through fields in sun and rain.
How can we explain to others the pain
We feel when love is no longer there?
That we still say we want to care...

Watching birds soar and dive and dip
Galivanting, quite carefree
'Til we step in a buffalo chip.
