Yes you heard it lil me didn't get lost in london when going to see the Lord of the Rings exhibition with Uncomformity and her great mates and if you think Uncomformity is great online she's even better face to face I enjoyed the day immensely I just hope they didn't catch my cold.

Another thing is I seem to attract Aussies for some reason (or should I say h2g2 does) and wondered whether I should do something with this magnetic touch I don't know some that well but theres always going to be one i hold close to my heart Natai. As for Ythika what can I say we've known each other since I came on h2g2 it seems and I hope all goes well with your baby and the rest of the family
Maybe just maybe I really ought to go out to Australia again and meet you people but with technophobe parents maybe I ought to wait till I am old and wrinkled only kidding. Would love to meet you all though especially Natai and Ythika.

Am now properly back at university, registered yesterday. All housemates are back now so all is good apart from the internet. Taking the router back this afternoon, I just hope the new one will actually work. On the bright side, I now know an awful lot about networking

At present I am running around after a job ... have got to go to a chatback session at uni as I'm now messy club leader at 2pm to tell me what to do etc.

Only one of my housemates is in at the mo and I think he's sleeping again till mid day... don't know how he can as I usually wake around 8am every day... house looks good and i've managed to lay my paws on a lotr poster

Got a friend who often isn't properly up until 4pm... she needs to get out of her nocturnal lifestile once lectures start however. I've got 3 lotr posters and a couple of others, but I put 2 of them up in the downstairs landing - my bedroom walls were too hard in places to hammer nails into, and after bending about 10 for every successful nail I gave up .

It said 8th on the meet page. I'll put my name down under maybe for now until I know my timetable.

All over the house are hooks for picture frames a friend wants to take them all out and litter the place with posters

My housemate lives nocturnaly because most her contacts are either American or Canadian. Bit of a time zone problem.

I went online to find my timetable, but no luck yet. I'd need to get to Hemel on the Friday, but I don't know the timetable yet. Also, it might clash with the RamSoc trip to Scarfel Pike, which I don't want to miss, as that mountain defeated me last year .

The landlord banned blutak, so we have to use pins and nails. All a little odd, as I'd have thought hammering into the wall would be somewhat more destructive than a bit of blutak .

I see well Editor in chimp is into sci fi and stuff on tv that happens at night either that or theres something else

Can't you use white tak? thats what we use we can't have nails and blu tak. You are definitely right about blu tak being less destructive

I've just realised that you've actually met the housemate in question . Klo - the one who we had to drag out of the exhibition. She didn't sleep at all last night because of a live chat with Oliver Wood (the Quidditch captain in the Harry Potter films).

A friend on my course got a timetable from somewhere, so I'll copy it on Thursday. We have to go to a talk about why they renamed our school. All seems a little stupid but hey. The chances are I'll be at the meet.

He specifiacally said only to put up posters with nails or pins He's really nice and our rent is very low, so I'll put up with having less posters.

Nottingham may be top for environmental science, but is even more disorganised than I am. My personal tutor's on maternaty leave, and the supervisor I'm supposed to be assigned to in the mean time didn't show up. I had to beg the student office to break into the room so I coukld actually get my module form. Still, at least I now know what modules I'm doing. This semester it's soil science, conservational biogeography, environmental measuring and bioethics.

Our landlord keeps campaigning for student grants and so on. We like him a lot.

hmmph ah well maybe one day I'll get to talk to him

If your uni is as disorganised as mine then I think everywhere else will be too. At least you know what you are doing I am not entirely sure what I am anymore
