What a nice surprise my first ever entry on the front page of Today's - Monday 14 November, 2005 - H2G2

Lets hope that Madonna and the Great Barrier Reef are not far behind.

Also watch out for the Eight Big Cats and the Great White shark which will eventually make it into peer review and hopefully beyond.

Oh yes also noticed that there's a few female singers missing e.g. Kylie Minogue and Mariah Carey ... theres lots to be done I can see so here's to all on completing the Guide

Nice to see you around too, Opti... seems to be quiet of late, doesn't it?
I'm perfectly fine Pretending to be hard at work, as usual

I'm starting to get the feeling that other people have joined and that they are hiding out in another part of h2g2 yet to be discovered by myself.

For a long time now I have thought that it has been very quiet... it used to be hectic especially three years ago when I first joined and met Unconformity and PSG who have set up house together now and left H2G2 .... well I guess they'll come and go.

I'm pleased to hear you are fine... can say the same for me too except things can always be better can't they?

...We're out of the loop, somewhow... Used to sort of be a bigger friendship group we were all involved with in some way... as I recall, it included Em, Unc, Listy, TB, you and I and no doubt a few others whose names don't immediately come to mind... And there were always new journal entries, or conversations or whatnot that we were involved with, so there was always something going on. But everyone's kind of drifting away from the site for whatever reason.. which means we don't meet new people in their journals and extend our own friendship group I guess. That's my theory, anyway. We aught to make an attempt to break back into the big ole sea that is hootoo and try and regroup

It was exceptionally hectic when I was frist around... but at least 3 of my good friends from then have left the site permanently. It's all quite sad in it's own way...
Really cool about Unc and PSG - I'm really happy for the both of them

...could always be worse, too. Best to count the small things that make you and hang on to them

maybe we should make an effort to join the busiest convos going on h2g2 which I believe are noted on the front page. I do see what you are saying and it is a real shame but theres little we can do I agree although I am a natural pessemist .... we should hang on to what makes us

We haven't exactly left, we've just been kept exceedingly busy . The computer crashes quite frequestly too , but I should be around more again in the new year .

Thanks, but no I haven't got it, or at least can't access it. I have to be very cautious about using my msn account on this computer, or it crashes. I can't even view pdf files without the computer crashing. My family are however safe and well, the caravan's probably flattened but that can be claimed on the insurance . I'll try and get on to my msn account later but if it doesn't work I'll give you my gmail address, which I can access without any problems . I hope you are doing well too
