A1077798 - Reading As Insubordination
Flying Betty- Now with added nickname tag! Posted Dec 13, 2003
There, updated! I don't really think there's much of anything else I can do with this one, so I'll call it actually finished unless anyone has any major quibbles.

Hi Betty
This might have been useful to me.... um, well, longer ago than I care to mention .
A few suggestions:
In your very last point your block quote should be in italics. Also, as this is a multi-authored piece, you might change the wording from "this Researcher's experience" which makes it sound like your own to "one Researcher's experience".
In addition to stoplights, reading can also be done at railroad crossings. Absolutely irrelevant, however. You don't have to add it, I'm just mentioning it .
For those no longer taking classes, the method described might also be employed for long, boring boardroom meetings, although the reprocussions may be a bit more severe.
Good luck with it

You might like to add a link to Atlantic Cable's entry on how to look at a watch without anyone noticing A2347986, as another surreptitious activity.
Pimms
(obviously the link would need updating as and when the entries are both in the EG)

That's a pretty good one. I'll have to look into that.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
