this looks good, actually. i saw 'religious language' in the menu and mentally rubbed my hands, and anticipated devouring something that is very tricky to articulate. you seem to encompass all the prevalent ideas on the subject, which is really the only aspect of the philosophy of religion that is still breathing. the topic is, i tell you, the bane of my existence, doing a theology degree. its so nebulous. anyway, you really need to clear the style up. its all written a bit briefly. yo need to explain, expand, and not be afraid of using more words. the language also needs to be slightly simplified, but also formalised, if you see what i mean...

RFJS__ - trying to write an unreadable book, finding proofreading tricky Posted Feb 29, 2004
If I might shove my oar in here -- I hate to ask you to add anything more to a very thorough article, but it may be worth adding something about the more mystical bent of the Via Negativa in the Cloud of Unknowing: movement from the cataphatic to the apophatic. What you currently have is factually correct, but gives the impression that the Via Negativa has been proposed only as a philosophical theory, whereas the Cloud of Unknowing (a favourite text of my own former A-Level Philosophy of Religion teacher) has a far more mystical tone.
