Not got much time to write about it, but if anyone wants to see the Canarian Christmas here are some snaps. Can't really say they qualify as photographs

Anyway, the Real Three Kings arrive by camel, following the Star. They walk along the Beach Road and go to the harbour, where all the local children hand in their letters and receive a hug and some sweets.
The next day is another bank holiday here - traditionally this is when the children get their presents.

In most Christian denominations in America either the visit of the three Kings is lumped into the December Nativity, or Observed January 6th (twelvth night).
I have used this as an excuse to keep my holiday lights up a bit longer and took them down thurdsay Morning.
The Bank Holiday for Christmas was December 24th through 26th.
Our next Bank Holiday in Michigan is to honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. on January 17th.

three kings night is still observed by some here in denmark as the last day of xmas - but not many, i think
