Hi there Gothickid.
This entry as it stands is more suited to being a journal entry. The AWW is a place to put orgional writings that may not be suitable for the Edited Guide. This is where the pieces that will form the Underguide will come from.
I would suggest that you read the Writing-Guidelines page to get more of an idea of whats expected.
Perhaps you could do a full entry on Korn, or even a diary type article on the concert you attended.
If you have no intention of working on this then I would politely request that you remove this from the AWW as it is not suitable as it stands
Regards
KJ

you are so funny, Kiltedjedi!
Remove an entry from AWW for being unsuitable?
Guidelines? What's expected? Underguide?
"The AWW is a place to put orgional writings that may not be suitable for the Edited Guide. This is where the pieces that will form the Underguide will come from."
I think this entry suits that criteria to a T. I think it is poetry.
If the Underguide is to police the AWW then I think it is taking itself way too seriously.
I've grown accustomed to her knees!

Did you read the entry TS? It's shorter than this post. We're not policing the UG, I hope. I think we're trying to clean out the UG

I wondered what you had to clean out of the UG at this early date.
Public service?
Do you have a secret handshake?
I did read the entry.
We've published things that short many times in AGG/GAG/CAC.
I even wrote some of them.

It is extremely slight, and as has already been mentioned, it is more of a journal entry than anything else.
Isn't there a minimum time that entries can stay in the AWW before anyone even suggests moving them? (I have no idea whether there is, or whether there isn't).
Anyway, I suggest leaving it here and seeing how it fares, and then - who knows?

Agreed.
I'm not opposed to one liners in general, but this is a bit slight and it hasn't attracted much in the way of comments. It seems that this entry is just clutter at this point.

Yes, I concur. Perhaps this is a candidate for removal?
And hi y'all!

Hiall.
This entry was actually in the middle of an argument between the UG and SOG. Interesting thing actually. To me.
Anyway, we shouldn't remove it as the author hasn't gone elvis and doesn't appear to be a 'one-stop' researcher. Maybe later though.

I read the thread.
We joined up at the tail end of the spook/UG wars so we never got involved. Is it really still an issue?
Anyway, we both assumed that the author wasn't active any more and for the moment we wouldn't have suggested a move if we had realised that they are still around. Sorry about that.

Hi Tonsil dear chap. Don't think we've been introduced. I'm Speckly of Speckly-Fattylizard infamy.
It would be nice if we could just do what we want, then I could be a proper forum nazi
But at the moment there are rules and one of them is that we do not move entries if the author is still active. If the author is around we can ask them to move the entries which is what I'm here to do.
Gothickid/madeye moody please could you remove this entry from this forum (If you don't know how just ask and someone cleverer than me will be along to tell you how) The reason I ask is that this is a review forum and there are quite a lot of stagnant entries cluttering it up. If an entry is not being worked on and has been here for a resonable length of time it is only fair to remove it and make room for new entries.
Thanks

I'm one of the gadflys around this operation. I was one of the original AGG/GAG/CAC bunch, back when the UG was but a rumour of a whisper. I used to work with Deidzoeb on a regular basis.
If I remember correctly, there is a facility for ACE/Scouts to move stuff along... Usually to the Flea Market. But that was back in the old days. I don't know how stuff works now.
In any case, if we wait long enough, someone with power and/or knowledge will come along and show us how it's done.
In the meantime, check out The Post for my weekly column, Escape Pod Dreams.

I have occasionally stopped by your column. Tis enjoyable though I'm a bit erratic on reading The Post, it all depends on how much time I have spare in a given week. Have you seen http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F80670?thread=359473&latest=1 Have fun Speckly.

Tonsil, Speckly is doing this in exactly the way it should be done We were given instructions months ago on how to do this (way back when Anna assisted the UG)
No need to worry
