There are bound to be some serious typos in this
'It is not difficult to open doors, the real art is to close them again' Some kind of clerical guy on television .
I finally made some swingdoors for the living room, Early spring I rebuild part of the open kitchen, as well as straigthened a wall. The storage cupboard, the stairs and a 'toilet cupboard' all had different front ending in the living room. Now there is one wall panelled with mdf with a metal foil on the visible side.
I already regret the material, too fragile
I sandwiched the panels with plywood for the cupboard and the 'toilet cupboard'. The doors for the stairs should swing in and out and be in style with the metal wall on both sides.
Again a sandwich with plywood, now panels on both sides. I have been searching for a good mechanic to make them swing for monthes. Made some test doors for several types.
Previous owner of the house removed a wall seperating the storage, stairs and toilet from the living room. A toilet in the living room, with open kitchen, is out of the question. The remaining ex toilet 'room' has been developed into a storage and utility hub since.
Many archers use the Jont Script < http://www.jont.studioj.dsl.pipex.com/bbc_dna/ >. This way they avoid actually visiting HooToo, but still use 'our' links mainly to unsubscibe from their conversations. Other boards use similar ways, they seem to be pestered by stalkers. This is accountable for numerous newbees.
By the way, did I miss the Quikly downtime or is it still to happen ?

Taking the points so far as I understand them in reverse order:
If possibly you mean my posting "Quantum Displacement" for the Conversation Forum for "Time Travel - the Possibilities and Consequences", that is downtime, time taken as component of motion, cosmological expansion taken in the accelerating model, down being in the direction of a fall, the quantum displacement given is in the 'down' direction.
I will be going to the sites you mentioned next. I've been postponing a visit to HooToo for fear that it will require me to think in a guided, self disciplined and directed manner rather just relaxing, but already had it on the agenda.
Sounds like a real "fixer-upper". Downright ghastly as a matter of fact.
Swinging doors for the stair: requiring hinges like those on bar room or saloon swinging doors? Susceptible to being locked in either open position or the closed position?
Chrome such as applied to metal finishes is usually not a plating or cladding but instead a high quality enamel paint doped with massive amounts of chromium metal powder with considerable durability and susceptible to being applied to other surfaces than metal just so long as they're proof against the (dangerous) solvents employed and smooth enough to produce the desired finish. Usually done in a shop or factory. I used to be acquainted with a couple of professional painters, one industrial, one merchant marine and I must say that the neurological damage they sustained in an age before the present generation of protective breathing wear as a consquence of long term chronic exposure was both hideous and pathetic. An automotive painter can probably do it as a side job, though. Panels and stripping perhaps?
"mdf"?
Am currently involved in remodeling my own place. Got rid of of the useless central heating system, converted the space to a broom closet, got rid of the built in range, converted to a microwave alcove. New front door, blocked off an unwanted back window. Incredible amounts of work remain to be done especially re-flooring and some expansion. Converting the studio bed room by means of installing a hot tub. I want that in nickel steel though. Not just any old hot tub will do.
Don't worry about typos. I make more than I've been letting show. I have to be especially alert for cyclothymic faults, redundancies and omissions, in my own writing.
