This is really not an out of body experience but just an ordinary computer mix up. Appearantly the h2g2 servers f up
Sorry about that but there are not two of you, although it seems like an interesting phenomenon.
The boomerang of time (meaning a time traveler who sees themself) will blow the ordinary person out of their mind if they are not prepared. Of course when they wake up they will forget all about it. That is how time keeps a neat universe!
